Looking for easy, affordable scuba certification, or enjoy scuba diving or snorkeling gorgeous reefs from a peaceful location? I recommend booking excursions and lodging at Keifitos Plantation or Turtle Bay, on Roatan Island in Honduras. It's an easy beachside spot to relax and enjoy island life. This location turned out to be incredibly convenient for a scuba-focused getaway. It's easily within boat taxi and shore walking distance from the more touristy villages on either side.
